Christmas wreaths and decorations workshop: learn to make beautiful natural decorations for your home.

Participants will use locally-gathered plant material to make their choice of either a wreath or a table decoration for Christmas.

Repair Cafe

Transition Stirling are very exciting to be hosting Stirling's first Repair Cafe! At the repair cafe volunteers with a range of skills will help visitors to repair and mend items they bring in that need fixing. We will have a range of categories for items including small electrical items, jewellery, clothing & textiles or furniture.

So bring along your items and learn how to repair them! No booking is necessary - just come along on the day. Courtesy of Stirling Voluntary Enterprise we will be hosting it in a pop up shop in Murray Place (formerly CHAS charity shop).

The first group of sessions on up-cycling fashion starts with a Denim & Jeans theme.  There are four sessions in all.  Session two, Knitwear & T-shirts, is on Saturday 8th May, session three, Coats & Jackets, is on Saturday 17th June and session four, Shoes, Boots & Bags is on Saturday 1st July.

Spring Foraging with Galloway Wild Foods

Spring Foraging with Galloway Wild Foods

A fantastic opportunity to take part in a guided foraging walk followed by wild cook-in led by full time forager Mark Williams of Galloway Wild Foods. After a welcome and introduction Mark will lead us on a foraging walk on easy paths covering 1 - 1.5 miles at a gentle pace. 

Following the walk at the wild cook-in we will have the chance to taste wild food outdoors while we socialise, discuss, interpret and i.d. our finds.


Transport to and from Plean Country Park from Stirling Town Centre is available to all participants. 

£5 Workshop Fee applies.

Scrap band challenge!

Unit 12, Stirling Arcade

Join in the fun and make some noise at this musical workshop! 

We'll be using a range of scrap materials and upcycling them into some tuneful creations. Try your hand at making a range of percussion and wind instruments or if you're feeling extra ambitious, why not try making a stringed instrument? 

You can have a go with some of our sample instruments then the only limit is your imagination as we set about making some music!
