Come along to our Wolf Workshop, where you will be able to recycle old books into a work of art!
We will be turning old books into pieces of art using moulds, paints and coloured & scented waxes. This session is suitable for children aged 8+ due to the use of hot glue guns and waxes. Please come with your grown ups, and wear old clothes - creating art can be messy work!
Wolf Collage - Drop-in
Join amazing maker Helen in creating a collage of a wolf. This artistic technique involves arranging and layering a diverse range of reclaimed materials onto a surface to create an amazing piece of artwork. Go on, come along and be your own Picasso!
This session is drop-in style - stay for as long or little as you’d like!

Professional Upcycling for Beginners
Would you like to be taken through the process of upcycling a piece of furniture from start to finish? This full day course will give you all the tools, tips and advice to upcycle a piece of furniture.
This will include being shown how to:
Design Prepare (including small repairs)
Sand
Paint
Stencilling/ageing/decoupage
Protect
All using the best professional products and exciting, modern paint techniques that will breathe a new lease of life into your chosen piece.
By the end of the day you will leave with a gorgeous piece of upcycled furniture, feeling confident of your skills and full of ideas for future projects.
The workshop will have a relaxed and informal atmosphere where we can inspire each other and have lots of fun along the way. Please bring a small unpainted, wooden piece of furniture, or you can pick one up at the Reuse Hub! It can get very messy so please wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day, please bring your own packed lunch.
Duration: 1 day (10:30am to 4:00pm)

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice: You’ll receive a full refund or have the option to transfer your booking to a future workshop.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop: Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund, as it’s unlikely we’ll be able to fill your spot at short notice.
If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know their name in advance.

Join local maker Helen for this drop-in creative session! Reuse materials to create your own beautiful and functional decoupage piece (think paper mache but pretty!)

Join local maker Caroline for this drop-in creative session! Transform old card, ribbon, sticky bits and more into beautiful cards, or get creative and make something else!

Fabric Collage with Valerie
Create your own unique framed image using recycled textiles, wool & threads. This session is perfect for those new to crafting and seasoned creators - everything you need to create your works of art will be provided. Suitable for all levels age 12yr - adult. There’s minimal sewing needed, with the ability to add as you wish.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

From furniture upcycling and repair skills to felting, kids’ craft days, and imaginative sessions like wand and spell book making, each workshop celebrates reuse and equips you to know how recycled and reclaimed materials can be transformed into something beautiful, useful, or just plain fun!
Led by our friendly team of skilled makers, our workshops are help you grow in creative confidence as you give it a go yourself in a relaxed and social setting, and partner with us in creating a better future for everyone.

From beginner sessions to creative community projects, we’re always adding new opportunities to learn and make.
