Artlink Central

Established since 1988, Artlink Central works with evidence-based practice across all art forms. They produce artist-led participatory programmes that support people with disabilities; people experiencing mental health issues; or from excluded communities.

They create innovative and accessible opportunities and experiences for people and communities who face complex issues. Using the arts, they strive to remove social, physical and attitudinal barriers to participation in society, working within hospitals, schools, prisons, day centres and community-based settings, as well as in the public realm. Working across art forms, collaborating closely with artists, statutory and voluntary sector agencies and with people accessing their artistic programmes.

Dynamic Wheel

Dynamic Wheel is a welcoming, peer-led support group for people experiencing mental health challenges. They believe that good mental health and meaningful employment are closely connected, and their sessions are designed to explore and strengthen that link.

The group meets weekly at the Hub, where members come together in a safe and supportive environment to take part in discussions and activities around mental health and employability. These sessions provide practical guidance, shared experiences, and encouragement to help people build confidence, develop skills, and move towards new opportunities.

In response to growing demand, they have also introduced a ‘Listening Ear’ service and buddying scheme for the Hub’s staff and volunteers. These services ensure that anyone who needs extra support has someone they can talk to, reducing isolation and promoting resilience within our community.

Whether you are looking for peer support, guidance on employment, or simply a place where you can connect with others who understand, Dynamic Wheel is here to help you take positive steps forward.
