£15.00

Join us at Stirling Reuse Hub for a friendly and hands-on Basic Machine Sewing Workshop with Audrey!

Never tried machine sewing before? Don't worry! This is the perfect session for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of sewing on a machine. Under Audrey’s expert and supportive guidance, you’ll learn how to safely use a sewing machine, understand basic sewing techniques, and gain confidence with simple stitching skills. By the end of the workshop, you’ll put your new knowledge into practice by creating your very own reusable tote bag using second hand fabric from Stirling Reuse Hub.

What’s included:

  • All materials provided (including reclaimed fabrics where possible)

  • Step-by-step instruction in a relaxed, welcoming environment

  • Use of sewing machines and tools

  • Your completed tote bag to take home

Great for: Adults and older teens looking to pick up a new skill (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult), reduce waste, and enjoy a creative afternoon.

Spaces are limited so be sure to book in quick!

Workshop Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel your workshop booking, here’s how our refund policy works:

  • Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice: You’ll receive a full refund or have the option to transfer your booking to a future workshop.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop: Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund, as it’s unlikely we’ll be able to fill your spot at short notice.

If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know their name in advance.

We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to one of our workshops soon!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at reuse@transitionstirling.org.uk
