In this hands-on workshop, you'll create your own simple thermal cooker using reclaimed materials, and learn how insulation can turn a pot of hot food into a slow-cooking powerhouse! Insulation cookers are a sure fire way to save on energy too - it's a win win!
This session is perfect for those experienced in machine sewing and who have their own machine already.
Things to bring:
Lunch
Sewing machine and everything you need to get going (think fabric scissors, tape measure, pins etc)
Sewing pro Pam will take you through the whole process to make your own insulation cooker, which you can take away at the end of the day! All fabric and stuffing being used will be provided.

Workshop Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel your workshop booking, here’s how our refund policy works:
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice: You’ll receive a full refund or have the option to transfer your booking to a future workshop.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop: Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund, as it’s unlikely we’ll be able to fill your spot at short notice.
If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know their name in advance.
