New Scots
Stitch & Speak Group
We make a variety of crocheted and knitted good, such as scarves, blankets and toys using materials either donated or found second hand.
The New Scots Stitch and Speak group is for the resettled refugees in Stirling. We meet once a week to practise speaking English and enjoy some time crafting. The women who come are so talented and we had so much material donated, that we decided to speak to Reclaimers about selling what was made.
The New Scots wanted to give back to the community and so decided to give the money made to a charity. They decided to donate what we make to Strathcarron Hospice.
