Helen Mitchell

I create art using found media, transforming it into works of collage, decoupage, sculpture and small furniture upcycling.

I started making after my degree in art and design in 2014, aged 50. I'm inspired by the natural world - particularly rugged coastlines and woodlands. I love to bring colour and joy in my pieces using found or discarded objects.

I also run a variety of creative workshops for the community.
