These sessions are for anyone who wants to repair or revive clothing that needs repaired. Each session will concentrate on a different subject: denim, knitwear, work/office wear/occasion wear, stain removal, footwear and bags, and outerwear. We will share techniques and learn new ones. The sessions have a suggested "bring along" and an end of session information "takeaway".  

We will look at how to repair: runs in knitting, dropped stitches, holes including moth holes! Pilling and bobbling, and decorative patching using a variety of techniques including: re-knitting, darning, sewing, and needle felting. We will look at t shirt repairs on pockets, hems, and split seams. Lots of different approaches.

* The "bring along": any knitted sweaters cardigans, t - shirts, hoodies, and an old worn out garment you'd like to use for patching.

We will have some examples for you to see and get inspiration from.
