Furniture Upcycling Workshop

  • Stirling Methodist Church 21 Queen Street Stirling United Kingdom (map)

This detailed workshop will introduce you to a number of skill from preparing furniture to finishing. The extremely knowledgeable Michaella will answer all your questions and help you along the way as you learn new skills. You can bring your own items to work on or let us know if you need a piece supplied for you (which you can take home if you want). No experience is necessary and this is open to all.

In this class you will learn some interesting upcycling and finishing techniques including gold leafing, ageing techniques, stencilling, image transfer and paint mixing (bring your own digital copies of images if you wish). You will get creative and upcycle a piece of furniture in your own unique style. Please arrange collection from the venue at the end of the workshop.

Tea and coffee will be available, but please bring your own lunch and snacks. Also please be aware that paint will be used so don't wear your best clothes. Children over 12 are welcome but please book their own ticket - they must be accompanied by an adult (please also purchase an adult ticket if participating).
